Financial Assistance

Applications are available to Ellis County residents for financial assistance. Reimbursement for medication, mileage, equipment, and other related expenses that are not covered by insurance is available to qualified individuals. A total of $1750 per patient per calendar year (January 1 to December 31) is available. Final bills need to be submitted for payment before February 28 th of the next year.

Nutritional Supplement

Nutritional supplement vouchers are available to Ellis County residents with approval from their doctor. Patients can redeem these vouchers to obtain dietairy aids to supplement their regular treatments.

Equipment Loan

The Cancer Council has equipment available free of charge, including wigs, wheelchairs, commodes, bath benches, walkers, and canes.

Educational Services

Educational materials such as pamplets and brochures are available to individuals, schools, groups, and organizations.
